Spectrum Concierge joins Blue Zones Project to promote employee health and wellness
Naples, Fla. (May 4, 2021) – Spectrum Concierge, a home management company serving the Naples and Bonita Springs area, along with Accent Cleaning Services, a residential and commercial cleaning company serving Estero, Bonita Springs, and Naples, has recently received their Blue Zone Project certification based on the various health and wellness initiatives the companies and their employees have demonstrated.
Towards the end of 2020, the owners of Spectrum Concierge and Accent Cleaning, Dave and Steph Feightner, challenged their staff to form internal action committees dedicated to better serve the community, improve the health of their employees and the environment. Involvement and certification from the Blue Zones Project comes as a direct result from some of the initiatives implemented by the Health and Wellness Committee.
“After doing some research about Blue Zones Project, we realized that our fellow team members were already doing a lot of things to improve the life of our employees, and our Health and Wellness committee was instantly hooked on the Blue Zones Project philosophy and lifestyle and wanted to bring it to our staff” Terri Alzado, Senior Administrative Concierge of Spectrum Concierge, said. “We wanted to show our employees how easy it was to make small changes in your daily routine that can add up to big differences in your life.”
Spectrum Concierge and Accent Cleaning is being recognized by the Blue Zones Project for implementing several wellness initiatives including a daily employee breakfast bar featuring a variety of healthy and nutritious choices to start the day, sharing weekly health tips based off Blue Zone Project Power 9 principles, organizing team bonding and social events outside of work, and promoting volunteerism.
