Spectrum Concierge Hosts The Immokalee Foundation Career Exploration Day

On September 16, 2021, Spectrum Concierge along with Accent Cleaning Services had the opportunity to host a career exploration day for The Immokalee Foundation – a local non-profit organization in Immokalee, FL that provides students the resources and the confidence to follow pathways to success in the form of after-school programs, internships, mentorships and ultimately college scholarships. The Spectrum Concierge and Accent Cleaning Services team members hosted 19 students at our office where they had the opportunity to sit down with our team members in various positions of our business and learn about different career pathways available after college. The students received valuable 1-on-1 time with our team members where they asked questions, learned about the responsibilities in each position and got a glimpse of our day to day operations and how everyone works together!

Our team had a blast hosting this career exploration day, and after learning about career pathways, we enjoyed a team lunch outside our office. We wanted to make their time with us interactive, so the day was filled with several team building activities and games which can be seen below. We truly hope that we were able to make a lasting impact on these students are look forward to getting more involved with The Immokalee Foundation, along with other great organizations in our community moving forward.

Founded in 1991, The Immokalee Foundation and its supporters are empowering children and young adults to change the course of their lives. Our students come from situations where English may not be their first language, where just getting through high school is considered a high achievement, and where a college degree and career are mere dreams. We’re in the business of helping make those dreams come true.

With the support of mentors, donors and volunteers, The Immokalee Foundation provides students the resources and the confidence to follow pathways to success. We do this by providing educational and career-building opportunities that open the students’ eyes to their personal potential . . . along with the understanding that what they once considered impossible just might be possible after all.
